| Do I need a Shopping Cart or Catalogue to do ECommerce? |
It very much depends on what type of business you are running. If you are actually selling online, then a Catalogue and Shopping Cart are virtually essential. However, if you are an estate agent or car dealership for example, you are unlikely to make many direct sales online, and could achieve an effective display using HTML programming without the need of a Shopping Cart. However, a Catalogue (without the Shopping Cart) could prove more beneficial for displaying such products, particularly if they require frequent daily or weekly updating as new cars or houses replace those that have been sold. |
